Sam is a Level 2 CrossFit Instructor who holds numerous other certificates, including CrossFit Kids and CrossFit Strongman. Sam is a strong believer in establishing core values for both your fitness and personal life. He believes these values will help assist in reaching your goals and aspirations both in and outside of the gym.
Sam was a multi-sport athlete throughout his high school tenure and in college, he continued to pursue his love of lacrosse. After college his desire to remain active and his natural competitive spirit led him to CrossFit in 2008. One thing Sam loves about CrossFit is it will always challenge you. No matter how long you have been doing CrossFit, there is always something to learn and improve upon. The sport is always evolving which means it will always challenge you!
Even though Sam has been physically active and involved with sports all of his life, he has struggled with his body composition. Over the past few years, Sam has realized the importance of nutrition and how it equally contributes to his health. He has found a passion for understanding the proper foods to eat in order to fuel the body, including a focus on macro nutrients.
Sam enjoys working with others to help them reach their goals. He firmly believes that having accountability with others will lead to an individual’s fitness and nutrition goals.
